TekMark Australia presents the Tektronix PA1000 designed for making precision power measurements on single-phase power supplies and all types of products connected to the AC line. 

The Tektronix PA1000 offers a versatile, modern and complete test solution for diverse applications from testing for compliance with energy usage regulations such as Energy Star, to characterising a product's overall power conversion performance and efficiency. The single phase analyser also finds application in testing lighting ballasts, consumer electronics and appliances, power supply testing, and energy efficiency of any single-phase product.

Key performance specifications of Tektronix PA1000 single phase power analysers include high measurement accuracy of 0.05% (basic voltage/current accuracy); 1 MHz bandwidth/ 1 MS/s sample rate for demanding test requirements; up to 600 VRMS voltage input; and up to 20 ARMS current input.

Key features of Tektronix PA1000 single phase analysers include a bright colour graphics display for easy instrument setup and data readout; dual internal current shunts to maximise accuracy for high- and low current measurements; application-specific test modes to simplify instrument setup and reduce the likelihood of user error; easy data export to USB flash drive or remote PC software for reporting and analysis; PWRVIEW PC software for fully automated compliance testing to IEC 62301 requirements; and standard features such as GPIB, USB, Ethernet and harmonic analysis to eliminate costly upgrade options.

The colour graphics display on the PA1000 is unmatched among single phase power analysers. In addition to providing intuitive readout of measurement values, it also displays harmonic bar charts, waveform display, energy integration plots and more. Setup of the PA1000 for any particular application is also easy and flexible, using the menu-driven interface and soft keys.
