Techspan’s new welders are loaded with innovative features, including:
- Advanced plug-in ceramic heating element technology
- High performance materials
- A host of ergonomic design features
Techspan Heavy Duty Plastic Welders
Techspan heavy duty plastic welding tools have been designed for fabrication and repair of rigid plastics up to 8mm thick, and for welding of flexible fabrics and films.
- Integrated electronic temperature control allows virtually all thermoplastics to be welded.
- Advanced engineering and high performance materials used in the new welders has resulted in a superb heavy duty plastic welder which is extremely reliable.
Extruder Welders
For welding plastics thicker than 8mm, Techspan extruder welders have been designed in various formats with welding capacities up to 6kg/hr.
- Extruder welding shoes are interchangeable for fillet, V, and X welds, and also for overlap welds.
- Techspan extruder welders are designed for welding PE and PP, and several models are also able to weld PVDF and PVC materials.
- Interesting design features of the extruder welders are the integrated stand system, and decisively less wearing parts than conventional designs, particularly in the rod feed system.
Wedge Welders
The Techspan wedge welders will overlap-weld geomembrane liners efficiently and reliably at high speeds, up to 5m/minute. The wedge welders are designed to weld a wide range of geomembranes, including LDPE, HDPE, PE-C, PP, PVC-P, ECB, EVA, and TPO. The wedge welders also incorporate a number of innovative features including:
- A unique ceramic wedge, which enables welding of different materials without changing the wedge.
- Integrated electronic temperature and speed controls are standard.
- A compact version has been designed for applications where small size and lightweight are especially important, such as overhead welding of geomembranes in tunnels.
- This compact version is the smallest and lightest wedge welder available, worldwide.
Industrial Hot Air Tools & Process Heating Systems
Alongside its new plastic welder range, Techspan Group has also released its new industrial hot air systems, for integration into machinery for process heating applications.
- Techspan’s new industrial hot air units are available from 800W up to 17,400W to suit most process heating applications.
- The industrial units also incorporate some innovative features such as advanced plug-in ceramic heating element technology, integrated electronic temperature control, and the use of high performance materials.
- The range of Techspan plastic welding and process heating systems are covered by a 2 year warranty* (excluding normal wearing parts*).
