Ignition Device for solid fuels from Techspan

Firebox hot air ignition device for solid fuels
The new Firebox from Techspan is a hot air ignition device for solid fuels. The maintenance-free low noise unit incorporates advanced high temperature ceramic element technology. An integrated Electronically Commutated motor provides high reliability and low noise level.
The heating element is electronically protected against overload without the need for visual monitoring and reliably reaches the pre-set maximum temperature. During high pressure operation, a pressurized equalization line is mounted between the primary blower (combustion air blower on the discharge side) and the ignition box on the extraction side.
This ensures that exhaust or low temperature carbonization gases are not able to flow back through the Firebox at any time. If the backflow of these gases can be prevented, eg. through an extractor fan fitted to the exhaust flue, the use of the pressurized equalization line can be omitted.
Mode of Operation:
The combustion chamber is filled with the appropriate combustion material.
The ignition process is started.
Firebox ignites the combustion material with hot air.
After successful ignition, the Firebox heating is switched off.
The blower continues to run for 1 minute to cool off the heating element and pushes fresh air into the combustion chamber.
Techspan industrial hot air units carry a limited 2 year warranty.
