Australian states will adopt the national model Work Health and Safety Act which will place a greater responsibility on Australian businesses to ensure a safe workplace at the end of this year. Pervidi’s safety inspection software will help businesses meet regulatory requirements by providing an efficient, paperless method of performing safety inspections.
The legislation requires businesses to perform frequent safety inspections and ensure that all reports are stored for future retrieval in case of future workplace accidents. It will also impose tougher sanctions on businesses that fail to do this. Pervidi’s safety inspection software automates inspections and will assist compliance with these regulations.
Using personal digital assistants (PDAs), safety inspectors can conduct their inspections without having to do any paperwork. The safety inspection software can be tailored for specific uses. Safety inspectors are able to capture and edit photos as well as audio recorded notes. Reports are sent from the field to a central database for secure storage.
Pervidi’s safety inspection software can be delivered as a turnkey package of training and software. It can be provided with consulting or as part of a completely customised solution.
Techs4Biz Australia will showcase the safety inspection software at the Safety in Action Show at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre from 5th April - 7th April.
