The Fluoroprobe is a highly sensitive measuring instrument for chlorophyll analysis. It can measure concentrations of up to five algal classes directly in the water from the surface down to depths of 100 m.
Because the measurements are all in real-time, it negates the need for random testing of water sources. The FluoroProbe is able to give real-time profiling and early warning of any potential problems.
The FluoroProbe software allows highly detailed data analysis, which can be displayed on a laptop, or stored in the probe for later retrieval and analysis.
The results can be shown either as text, or graphically and further processing allows zooming, printing and exporting of data. Setting parameters and calibrating the FluoroProbe is also performed using the PC software.
The FluoroProbe can detect up to 5 different algae classes, and quantify the different classes within seconds of analysis by in situ measurement. The FluoroProbe records the date, time, depth, temperature, classification and quantity of algae present – all in real-time.
