Technical and Scientific Equipment Co presents the CHY-C2 thickness gauge, from Labthink. This thickness gauge is designed and manufactured according to the ASTM D645 and ISO4593 standards, and applicable in the accurate thickness testing of all kinds of materials, including plastic films, sheets, diaphragms, paper, foils, silicon wafers and other materials. The mechanical thickness tester is not only versatile, but can also measure to an accuracy of 0.1 micron. The contacting area and pressure between testing head and film conform to the relative standards strictly.

Features of the thickness gauge include the following:

  • The LCD on the thickness gauge displays the test parameters, and the options can be easily configured with the operation buttons on the front
  • Both manual and automatic tests are possible with these micrometers, with test results and statistics automatically being printed with the integrated mini-printer
  • The micrometers also have an RS232 port and network transmission interface for LAN data management and internet data transmission
  • The high automation also reduces errors caused by human factors
  • Optional accessories for the thickness gauges include software, communication cable, weight tray and weigh
This thickness gauge/micrometers are composed of a control system, test system, and printer/output system. The test system is for testing specimens and outputting an electrical signal. The control system is for the setting and modification of parameters, signal processing and results display. The output system’s function is to print out the result. The standard measuring range of the t5hickness gauge is 0-2mm, with optional 0-6mm and 0-12mm models. The resolution is 0.1 micron, and the thickness gauge can perform 10 tests per minute.
