Dust levels have a big impact on the quality of air quality, both indoor and outdoor.
As well as the obvious health risks, airborne particles can cause major quality problems in manufacturing operations and other commercial situations. Dust can be released from building materials during or after construction, or contamination may occur from many outside sources.
Indoors, dust problems may be caused by unsuitable or blocked filtration systems, or vacuum cleaners collecting only larger particles and circulating the smaller ones.
TSI 8520 DustTrak Airborn Particle Monitor is designed for real-time or long term monitoring in indoor or outdoor environments.
Portable, flexible and easy to use, the TSI 8520 DustTrak Airborn Particle Monitor is at home in an office or factory and with its optional weatherproof enclosure also suitable for a busy construction site or quarry.
The TSI 8520 DustTrak Airborn Particle Monitor is a laser-scattering photometer with its own built in sampling pump. The TSI 8520 DustTrak Airborn Particle Monitor is supplied complete with a cyclone and inlet kit for measuring particle sizes corresponding to PM10, PM2.5, PM1.0 or respirable size dust fractions.
A wide calibrated load-range ensures that the instrument may be used for clean office settings as well as for harsher industrial workplaces. The meter is simple to operate and may be used for spot checks, logging or programmed unattended operation.
