The new Smartflow flow regulators, available from Tasman Machinery , are a range of quality manually adjustable needle valve flow meters. Flow regulators are recommended for injection moulding processors to allow them to quickly regulate water flow to water cooling circuits. With the use of flow regulators, processors can achieve turbulent flow in cooling circuits.
Available in a range of connection sizes, thread types and flow rates, the compact design of the Smartflow flow regulators allows them to be installed in-line easily. Smartflow flow regulators can be supplied with or without temperature gauges and integrated into the body of the regulator.Smartflow flow regulators are made of corrosion resistant materials. The body and needle valve components are brass. The viewing window is made from heat resistant polysulfone material. All internal parts are stainless steel, with a nylon sensing vane. The assembly is rated to 150psi and 99°C. All components are compatible with water/ethylene glycol mixture.
