TASK Australia has released a new forklift designed and manufactured in Australia. Task's new Sumi Boa Legless Pedestrian Forklift will be featured at the Queensland Safety Show from June 21 – 23, 2006.

Task Australia distributes the Sumi range of battery electric lift trucks manufactured in Australia by proudly Australian owned Osko.

Apart from its local associations, the Boa is loaded with features. A solid state transistorised speed control offers smooth, stepless acceleration with infinite control.

Dead-man braking allows brake control on ramp descents and auto-lock when stopped.

Ergonomics include mast functions housed in handles designed for operator comfort and reduced fatigue.

The unique modular design even allows for an 'upgrade option' to increase lift capacity and lift height if required in the future.

As well as the Sumi range, Task has a full range of materials handling equipment, including the Max range of gas and diesel trucks, Max ride-on battery-electric trucks and a wide selection of second hand and reconditioned trucks.

Task equipment can be seen at stand F10 of the inaugural Queensland Safety Show the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre.
