TRIO Test & Measurement announces the availability of a new range of thermal imaging cameras from Agilent.

Agilent’s thermal imagers deliver 320x240 image resolution for the cost of a 160x120 camera, and allow the user to focus as close as 10cm from their object of interest.

Agilent’s U5855A TrueIR thermal imaging infrared camera is a high resolution thermal imager that offers four times more resolution, and four times more detail at a very affordable price.

Recommended for a range of predictive maintenance activities from hot spot detection to thermal profiling in industrial or commercial applications and building inspection or medical research applications, the new U5855A thermal imager enables the user to magnify the thermal image of a distant object by four times to reveal finer details and quickly spot problems. The camera can also take thermal images of minute components from as close as 10cm away clearly and accurately.

Key features of Agilent’s U5855A TrueIR thermal imaging cameras include Fine Resolution capability for four times more pixels; 4x digital zoom for finer object details; quick access buttons to easily change settings or functions; 3-year product warranty; ergonomic design with evenly distributed weight for effortless use; in-camera monitoring for temperature trending; measurement and analysis tools to help monitoring and tracking over time; and built-in quick start tutorial.

The U5855A thermal imager also comes with the complimentary TrueIR Analysis and Reporting Tool that allows the user to easily import, analyse and edit thermal images and quickly generate reports using ready templates.
