The combination of PT878 and the OKS transducers allows users to non-invasively measure flow rates in pipes within the temperature range of -200°C to 350°C. Users can carry out flow measurements with the ultrasonic flowmeter without cutting the pipe. The transducers are mounted on the exterior of the pipe, which simplifies and speeds installation, so that users have no pressure drops, leaks or contamination.
The PT878 and the OKS transducers, available from TR , are suitable for testing liquid flow in manufacturing processes, without costly repairs or changes to plant.
