Megger transformer ohmmeter/winding resistance and tap-charger test set

The Megger transformer ohmmeter/winding resistance and tap-charger test set, available from TR , has dual independent channels for simultaneous measurements on two windings. It also has built in safety discharge and shut-down features or test operation of on-load tap-chargers.

The lightweight, field portable unit accurately measures the DC winding resistance of all types of transformers and rotating machines. A built in circuitry dischargers the specimen when the test is completed if load is accidentally disconnected or if line power is lost.

The Megger transformer ohmmeter/winding resistance and tap-charger test set is suitable when testing the operation of on-load tap-chargers. It can be used to check the make-before-break operation of on-load tap-chargers and also to measure the contact resistance of each tap position.

The Megger transformer ohmmeter winding resistance and tap-charger test set has the following features:

Dual independent channels for simultaneous measurements on two windings
Built-in safety discharge and shut-down features
Tests operation of on-load tap-changers
