Ultrasonic Liquid Flowmeter available from TR Corporation
TechRentals has the ideal solution to test pipes for:
- Leakages
- Slow flows and
- Pressure
PT878 is the new TransPort Flowmeter from Panametrics. Following on from the highly successful PT868, the new generation PT878 retains all the important features and functions in a compact, easy-to-use package.
Reasons to use Ultrasonic Liquid Flow meters:
Ultrasonic liquid Flowmeters conveniently and reliably measure flow and pressure in liquids. They can be used to test for leaks, check or measure flow in water or manufacturing ingredients, perform leak tests, and verify the proper function of installed devices.
Thus the flowmeters are helpful for quality management, fault finding or performance management in manufacturing.
Panametric PT878:
The PT878 is one of the powerful portable liquid flowmeters available. It can measure flow from outside plastic, metal or concrete-lined pipes non-intrusively, so there is no pressure drop, leaks or contamination.
Patented correlation algorithms resolve transit-time signals like no other flowmeter and allow the PT878 to measure flow of liquids.
A rugged, sealed enclosure also provides IP67 submersibility, protecting the PT878 if it should accidentally fall into water or other liquids.
Features:
- Non-invasive clamp-on transducers
- Flow range 0.03 to 12.2 m/s
- Up to 32 sets of pipe-data by site
- Velocity, volumetric, energy and totalised flow
- Built-in datalogger for 100,000 measurements
- Large multi- parameter LCD display
- Resistive Temperature Detectors (RTDs) for energy flow measurement
- Operation with many pipe materials, lined or unlined
- Rechargeable battery now providing six to eight hours of continuous remote operation.
Suitable for:
- Manufacturing
- Food and beverage industries
- Petrochemical and gas companies
- Water supply and water treatment facilities and
- Environmental analysis or monitoring and many more industries.
