S1-552 high current insulation resistance tester

Megger’s S1-552 high current insulation resistance tester, available from TR Corporation , can test up to 5kV.

The S1-552 high current insulation resistance tester was designed specifically to assist electricians with the testing and maintenance of high voltage electrical equipment.

Noise rejection of 2mA rms at 200V enables the instrument to take effective readings in high noise environments such as high voltage substations and switchyards.

And the instruments drive 5mA of short circuit current allows for faster charging and testing of large capacitive and inductive loads.

Megger S1-1052 high current insulation resistance tester for testing up to 10kV is also available.
