TNA sells packaging equipment to Productos Alimenticios Diana

TNA Australia , a supplier of turn-key integrated packaging and processing solutions for food production companies worldwide, announced its large single sale of equipment in its 25-year history to Productos Alimenticios Diana, headquartered in San Salvador, El Salvador.

Productos Alimenticios Diana, an international privately-held company and leading manufacturer of snack foods in Central America, purchased 52 robag 3 tx 180 Rotary Single Jaw (RSJ) baggers. These double systems, which connect to 26 TNA delta 516 scales will be installed as an overall upgrade to its snack, production and packaging line.

The highly efficient vertical form, fill, and seal (VFFS) equipment will be installed in three stages beginning in May, 2007. Productos Alimenticios Diana chose TNA’s equipment after a review and selection process which concluded TNA’s quality and quality control allows for faster, reliable and efficient packaging production. The new TNA equipment will double Diana’s current bagging capacity, and installation is expected to be complete in August, 2007.

Renato Barrera, Manager for Development of Internacional Commerce, Productos Alimenticios Diana said, “Stable production, not just fast, is critical in our environment.
