TNA, a leading supplier of turn-key integrated packaging and processing solutions for food production companies, has promoted Robert (Bob) Fritz to director of operations, Luigi Di Palma, to director of sales, and Clare McCabe to vice president of TNA Americas, effective immediately.
Fritz, who has over 20 years of food packaging experience, has been with TNA since 1989. Starting as a service technician and moving up to service manager, Fritz was then promoted to R&D manager (electrical and software) before moving to Dallas as the vice president of operations, Americas.
After spending three years in Dallas, TX, home to TNA’s North American headquarters, Fritz joins the management team headquartered in Sydney for his new role as director of global operations. In his new position, Fritz oversees TNA’s global operations, directing the capital expenditure, asset redeployment activities, and human resource cost and growth.
He will lead the development of sound short- and long-range plans for the organisation to ensure profitability and that year-end goals are attained. Fritz is also active in the implementation of new systems and structures, enabling continued and sustainable growth. Fritz reports directly to Alf Taylor, managing director.
Di Palma began his career at TNA in1993 as a technical support engineer. He was soon promoted to technical manager for the Americas. As TNA’s Latin American market developed, technical field relationships became important, and Di Palma quietly morphed into the sales manager for Latin America. In 2001, Di Palma moved to Mexico and was instrumental in the opening of TNAMEX S. de R.L. de C.V, TNA’s Latin American headquarters in Mexico City.
In early 2002, he was promoted to vice president of Latin America, and then again in 2003 to vice president, Americas, where his experience helped improve sales penetration and staff participation for TNA. Now serving as director of global sales for TNA, Di Palma’s current responsibilities include overall coordination and functional management of all global sales activities.
He evaluates the market position of competing products, services and organisations, and devises sales strategies to penetrate those markets. Additionally, Di Palma ensures the adequacy of TNA’s training program for both service technicians and clients, alike.
McCabe came to TNA with significant experience in operations and human resource in the banking sector, including managing operations for one of Australia’s large banks. She has since been responsible for multiple sites across the Asia Pacific region, working for such companies as Computershare and Liberty Mutual Insurance.
In 2005, McCabe joined TNA as group human resources manager, where she was responsible for global human resources, held accountable for developing, implementing and coordinating policies and programs supporting TNA’s overall business strategy. Now, as vice president, Americas, McCabe’s responsibilities include a continued focus on development and growth of the Americas, moving and expanding TNA into new markets, and exceeding customer needs.
TNA, celebrating its 25th anniversary in business this year, has set the benchmark in the industry for vertical form, fill and seal (VFFS) packaging systems, creating efficient machines, using less parts with a simple design to increase maximum output and flexibility.
