TNA, a leading supplier of turn-key, integrated packaging and processing solutions for food production companies worldwide, unveils its new product for the snack food industry, the On-Station Flavouring System at Auspack.
TNA will unveil the On-Station Flavouring System at Auspack, one of Australia’s international exhibitions dedicated to packaging and processing machinery, materials and associated technology, 1 May through 4 May 2007, at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre, booth #209.
The On-Station Flavouring System consists of a stainless steel, multi flute, mini drum design to give gentle but continuous tumbling of the product, as well as a twin auger and metering spice dispenser for accurate non-clogging volume control, and an atomising electro powder-coating system to accelerate the spice toward the product.
The On-Station Flavouring System reduces overall spice usage by optimising the distribution of the spice onto the product and by eliminating dusting. This new system also provides more production flexibility due to its ease of changeover.
Also on display at the show are TNA’s robag 3 fx 180 rotary triple jaw (RTJ) and robag 3 fx 320 rotary flat jaw (RFJ), as well as their roflo distribution system. The robag 3 fx 180 RTJ vertical form, fill and seal (VFFS) bagger provides performance due to the advanced technology of the jaw feature that bags product with speeds in excess of 220BPM, with a maximum flat bag width of 180mm.
The robag is used in the confectionery market and can bag any snack or high-density product that needs to be packed at a high speed and in a small bag. The robag 3 fx Models And roflo Unit also on exhibit at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre 1 May through 4 May 2007, booth 209.
The robag 3 fx 320 RFJ VFFS bagger, which can bag product at 125BPM with a max flat bag width of 320mm, has the ability to pack fresh potatoes, confectionery, pet food, biscuits and more. The robag 3 fx 320 RFJ VFFS bagger’s flexibility allows it to form shelf ready packaging, such as pillow packs, promo strips and more.
Finally, the roflo distribution system will be on display to show its unique servo-driven system that operates in a smooth operator motion using simple mechanics. The roflo distributes a wide product range, dependent on the product’s coefficient of friction, and can be fully configured to meet the needs of any food industry. The roflo’s gentle motion ensures less product breakage and loss of flavour.
TNA, celebrating its 25th anniversary in business this year, has set the benchmark in the industry for vertical form, fill and seal (VFFS) packaging systems, creating efficient machines, using less parts with a simple design to increase maximum output and flexibility.
TNA provides a complete line of products from its well known robag VFFS Baggers; roflo Product Distribution and Accumulation Equipment; Seasoning Systems; Multihead Scales; Checkweighers; Date Coders; Metal Detectors, Case Packers; Palletisers; and Complete Processing Equipment.
According to TNA, displaying at Auspack is really special for it this year. Australia is where TNA has its roots, and Melbourne is home to its manufacturing facility. It is good that it gets to display at such an established event, and at the same time celebrate its 25th anniversary in Australia, a country that has done so much for the growth and progression of TNA.
