THA Nationwide provides bidding services for sales and rentals of used vehicles such as cars and trucks. THA Nationwide believes that it is the responsibility of customers to inspect the vehicle thoroughly. In case if the customer is not able to attend the auction, then he or she can bid the vehicle through phone or place an absentee bid. The Department of Fair Trading needs vehicles to be sold with registration to the private buyer along with a Roadworthiness Certificate. Customers are not allowed to withdraw once the bidding is made. Customers make a bid by raising their hand in vision of the auctioneer. THA Nationwide offers assistance to make bidding. The staff member of THA Nationwide also provides necessary support.
Payment in terms of the vehicle has to be done within 48 hours of sale unless otherwise arranged. Payment can be made either by EFT or direct transfer, bank cheque. THA Nationwide does not accept personal or unauthorised company cheques. After the sale, customers are expected to transfer the vehicle in their name at the RTA within 14 days from the date of sale. If the vehicle is purchased with registration, then the customers have to take the invoice and Roadworthy Certificate to the RTA along with current drivers licence. The RTA will charge 3 percent stamp duty in order to transfer the vehicle in their name.
