Chambrelan are well known in the production of telescopic slides and linear ball rails with over 50 years experience in the global linear motion industry. They have designed, developed and supplied numerus ball bearing slides and guidance rails to industry and equipment manufacturers worldwide. These products, manufactured by Chambrelan, are supplied by T.E.A. Transmissions .

This range of telescopic slides has been designed for use in industrial applications. The slides require minimum maintenance, except in extreme environments. Standard slides are available in steel, aluminium and stainless steel. All slides are produced with a treatment against corrosion which has the endurance to withstand 250 hours in salt spray, with additional surface treatments upon request.

The slides are classified according to the type of extension achievable. The options available are partial, total and over extension.

Partial extension slides are two beam slides and are limited to allow 2/3 extension of the closed length.

Total extension slides are three beam slides with the middle beam offering supplementary extension to enable 100% extension of the closed length.

Over extension slides are four beam slides. With the additional beams, this slide is capable of a 150% extension of the closed length.

All slides are fitted with end stops, which limit the extension for both opening and closing to prevent disconnection of the slides. Optional locking devices are available with load capacities over 10kN.

Linear ball guidance rails are composed of circulating ball runners, which slide in a rail. The rail is a fixed guidance profile with two ball bearing tracks. Customers can use one or several ball runners in this track. The circulating ball runner is the mobile part of this system and is produced specifically for the rail in which it is supplied and is manufactured with a tolerance of 1/10th of a millimetre. The guidance rail is produced from cold drawn steel with some smaller sizes available in aluminium.
