Rod ends, available from T.E.A. Transmissions , are standardised ready-to-be-installed machine components serving the transmission of static and dynamic forces in combination with swivelling, tilting or rotating movement.
T.E.A. Transmissions stock a wide range of rod ends to suit most machine applications. Their range consists of steel, stainless steel, left and right hand threads available in both metric and imperial sizing.
The steel rod ends are supplied with the body made from heat treated carbon steel with nickel plating. The ball is made from chromium steel Gcr15, heat treated and hard chrome plated complete with copper alloy race. All steel rod ends are supplied with grease nipple for lubrication.
The stainless steel rod ends are supplied with the body made from 304 stainless steel, a ball made from 440 heat treated stainless steel with a maintenance free self lubricating Teflon liner.
