T.E.A. Transmissions presents HepcoMotion’s vacuum and extreme temperature bearings and track rollers designed for extreme environments.
Featuring a stainless steel construction, HepcoMotion vacuum and extreme temperature bearings and track rollers are available in sizes from 18mm to 54mm in diameter, feature a broad range of fixing styles, and come with load capacities from 180N to 4,200N. These bearings and track rollers can be used with stainless steel linear and curved slides from the Hepco GV3, SL2 and PRT2 ranges.
Both the VACSS range of vacuum and high temperature bearings and the LTSS range of low temperature bearings use components entirely made from stainless steel. While the nut, stud, bearing rings, washer, cage, shields, rivets and screw are made from Austenitic stainless steel, the balls are made from Martensitic stainless steel.
Stainless steel is the default choice for a vacuum because it doesn't outgas, is inherently clean and non-corrosive, and therefore suitable for applications requiring a high level of cleanliness.
