HepcoMotion has made a substantial capital investment in several new machines to expand its manufacturing capabilities. HepcoMotion’s ongoing investment in the latest production technology has helped enhance the company’s ability to undertake specialist machining of many of its product ranges from the precision vee slide GV3 to the HDS2 heavy load rails up to 6m in length.

In addition to assured faster turnaround, these capabilities also provide customers with a single source supply for all their linear motion needs.

The latest tranche of capital investment by the company has seen the introduction of multiple new machines, to underpin the quality of its own core and emerging products. It also enhances HepcoMotion’s capacity to engineer cost effectively, a linear motion system that is optimal for the task.

HepcoMotion has introduced to the shop floor at its Triverton factory, four 6m x 0.5m and eight 3m x 2m vertical machine centres (with 3D machining capability), all with a weight capacity of 10,000kg. Additionally the company has taken delivery of 4-axis and 5-axis vertical machining centres and a turning centre suitable for hard point, super finish machining.

Apart from custom machining, HepcoMotion is also able to offer corrosion resistant coatings on many of its slides, and decorative coatings on its MCS aluminium profile range. This can be in any RAL colour to meet corporate identity or health and safety requirements.
