HDS2 Heavy Duty Slide System is a system based on the V guide principle that Hepco have developed and perfected over the last 35 years to meet the demanding needs of today’s automation and general industrial markets. The HDS2 Heavy Duty Linear Slides consist of single edge & double edge 90°V slides or flat tracks manufactured from high quality bearing steel that has been hardened on the wearing surfaces. Single piece lengths are available up to 4046mm however continuous lengths can be purchased as butted sets.
All single edge slides can be purchase with a spur or helical rack option. V bearing and track rollers are available with a load capacity of up to 50kN each. Also available are two sizes of construction beams with T-slots positions in conjunction with backing plates and T-nuts. All this, with an option for stainless steel or corrosion resistant components as standard, enables the HDS2 Heavy Duty Linear Slides range to offer a solution for most customers high load applications.
HDCB Heavy Duty Compact Beam is a highly versatile unit having the facility to mount slides on to all 4 corners. This makes it particularly suitable for use as a telescopic Z axis in gantry application or in areas where system height is restricted. Slides mounted are from our HDS2 range of Heavy Duty Linear Slides.
MHD Max Heavy Duty Linear Slides have been specifically designed to transport robots and heavy automation equipment along a linear track to perform assembly operations in the automotive and heavy mechanical handling industries. Suitable for high speed operation of up to 6 m/s and has a block capacity of 5 tonnes capable of applications with high offset loads as well as offering durability and long life. The track incorporates a rack drive allowing high driving forces to be applied to cover a wide range of load and speed requirements. Blocks are low maintenance with a high capacity taper roller bearing in the most heavily loaded direction.
