Available from T.E.A. Transmissions , Chambrelan telescopic slides and linear ball rails are heavy duty and have been specifically designed for use in industrial applications.
Telescopic slides require minimum maintenance, except in extreme environments and are available in steel, aluminium and stainless steel. All telescopic slides are produced with a treatment against corrosion, meaning they are capable of withstanding 250 hours in salt spray. Additional surface treatments are also available.
A large choice of telescopic extensions is possible, as partial, total or over extension. Partial extension slides have two beams and are 2/3rds the extension of the closed length. Total extension slides are a three beam slide with the middle beam, offering supplementary extension to enable 100% extension of the closed length. Over extension slides have four beams. These telescopic slides are capable of 150% extension of the closed length.
All telescopic slides are fitted with end stops, limiting the extension for opening and closing operation to prevent disconnection of the slides and optional locking devices. They are available with load capacities over 10kN.
Linear ball guidance rails are composed of circulating ball runners which slide in a rail. The rail is a fixed guidance profile with two ball bearing tracks and one or several ball runners can be used in this track. The circulating ball runner is the mobile part of this system and is produced specifically for the rail in which it is supplied. It is also manufactured with a tolerance of 1/10th of a millimetre. The guidance rail is produced from cold drawn steel with some smaller sizes available in aluminium.
