SYSPRO Software, a leading supplier of enterprise resource planning systems to SMEs, today announced that Gartner had included SYSPRO as an “IT provider that understand small and midsize businesses (SMBs)” section in its February 2007 publication entitled “Dataquest Insight: Good Practices for IT Providers in selling IT solutions to SMBs” written by James A. Browning, Robert P. Anderson, Joslyn Faust and Debra Curtis.
According to the Gartner report: “Creating the right IT solution for SMBs requires not only an understanding of their technology and business needs, but it also requires a clear understanding of their purchasing, deployment and support preferences”.
Gartner also recommend that “Technology providers should develop their solutions and go-to-market approaches to align with proven good practices and preferred channels within the different segments of the SMB market.”
