Sykes Group provide sales and distribution services for a range of Quiet Solution pumps. South Australian Government Department has utilised the QSPCP200 model of pumps supplied by Sykes Group for its environmental rejuvenation projects. Sykes Group’s pumps were commissioned to take water from one of the Murray River tributaries and discharge it on to the dry flood planes. As a result of the rejuvenation project the old river red gums and surrounding trees were given a new lease of life.
The environmental rejuvenation project involved eight days of pumping work transferring 640 million litres of water to replicate a natural flood. Quiet Solution pumps can be easily accessed for maintenance, and have the distinct advantage of being extremely quiet at 62dBA at 7 metres, while operating at full load.
