Now available from the Sykes Group , a new generation of drainage pump from Grindex offers increased durability and simplified service for a longer life.
The new drainage pumps introduce several features that increase pump life and durability three fold, whilst at the same time maintaining pump efficiency.
Furthermore, the new Grindex pumps are both easier to handle and faster to service, due to the availability of ex-stock spare parts.
Wear resistance has been achieved by preventing abrasive particles from reaching the vulnerable parts of the pump. The pumps are also fitted with anodes to improve their corrosion resistance.
The newly designed hydraulics section with its closed impeller dramatically reduces performance drop caused by long-term wear. In the event of dry running, this impeller also automatically functions as a fan to cool the pump motor, bearings and seals as the air valve opens and releases the hot air.
A 1000 volt drainage pump prepared to underground mining specifications is now also available, which also includes the unique air valve feature.
The new Grindex drainage pumps are fitted with a restrained and protected screened cable and 1000V plug so they are ready to 'plug and go', while the cartridge seal arrangement ensures seal integrity and ease of installation.
Additionally, the Grindex pumps are fitted with rubber shock absorbers, which help to protect vulnerable parts of the pump from impact damage.
Overall, these changes mean that the new Grindex pumps can work at practically full power for their entire, now dramatically increased, working life.
