Offering efficiency levels of 83%, the contractor range of self priming pumps minimise fuel usage through its redesigned hydraulic pump end, impeller, and wear plates.
Thes self priming pumps do not require manual priming of the suction line, or filling of a priming tank, in order to begin normal operation. Furthermore, they can run dry for extended periods of time thanks to the oil bath mechanical seal assembly which allows priming with long suction hoses and suction lifts of up to 9m. As fluid levels fluctuate, the pump will "snore" until liquid becomes available, at which stage the pump will automatically fully reprime itself.
Additional features of the Contractor range of self priming pumps include:
- reduced engine sizes
- lower maintenance costs
- conversion kits for wellpoint dewatering and high heads
- diesel, electric or hydraulic drive
- solids handling up to 90mm
- simple maintenance
- replaceable wear parts
- chassis - skid, road tow, wheeled, caged
- zero emissions available.
Typical applications for the Contractor range of self priming pumps include:
- clean water
- solids laden liquids.
