Sydney Metal Fabrications recently celebrated their 3rd birthday as well as their growth and expansion.
Sydney Metal Fabrications first opened their doors for business in 2007 as a ‘Father and Daughter’ operation.
In early 2008 they took on their first apprentice, who is now a fully qualified tradesman in the workshop.
The growth phase continued in 2009 when they added more tradesmen and a full time Sales Manager.
By the beginning of 2010, the company had grown to a level where things were getting a little crowded not only on the workshop floor, but also in the small office space.
Sydney Metal Fabrications needed more space to allow for expansion into stocked steel, modular ducting and accessories, but did not want to leave its ideal position in the Taren Point industrial area.
When the unit next door to the workshop became available, Sydney Metal Fabrications used the space to create a large warehouse, a reception and a much roomier office area.
With a great team on board comprising of four people on the workshop floor, a Sales Manager, a Receptionist and the original ‘Father and Daughter’ duo, Sydney Metal Fabrications has definitely taken another move in the right direction.
