Switches Plus Components offer the EVERSWITCH Piezo actuator for passenger doors for mass transportation systems. The EVERSWITCH Piezo actuator was developed for trains, trams, buses and coach vehicles. With no adhesives or soldering, the switch is externally mounted and mechanically attached.
The switch output in the EVERSWITCH Piezo actuator is ‘dry contact’ and is manufactured in a momentary version as well as in a continuous six second pulse duration version.
The illuminated ring is dual coloured. Two sets of bright LEDs are embedded in the pushbutton. When activated, the illumination changes from red to green colour. A rotating illumination ring version is also an option. The activation area is laser engraved or screen printed, with replaceable standard plate or custom legend.
The EVERSWITCH actuator reduces assembly time and increases the life of the passenger door actuator, which in turn reduces service cost. The EVERSWITCH actuator utilises the VPM patented Piezo technology, which represents high industry standards.
The EVERSWITCH Piezo actuator operates at a wide temperature range of -40ºc to +125ºc, and is IP 68 certified. With no moving parts, the EVERSWITCH is a vandal-proof push button. The low voltage actuator (24V 0.2) is a retrofit for any existing passenger door actuator.
