Switches Plus Components offer the new LIN Engineering stepping motor with 35% more torque. The 4418S series is a 1.8 degree step motor. Lin Engineering step motors are available with either 2-coil bipolar or 4-coil unipolar windings. Bipolar motors have four leads, while unipolar motors have six leads. Some stepper/step motors are designed with eight leads, so they may be connected in a variety of ways.
