SCOTT Allardice is the recent recipient of the prestigious 2005 Frank Vale Award, run by the Refrigerated Warehouse & Transport Association (RWTA).
Named in honour of one of the founding fathers of the Australian cold storage industry, the award draws candidates from each state division of the RWTA.
During his four years with Swire Cold Storage , Scott Allardice has shown tremendous potential in everything that he undertook.
Scott is currently employed as Swire Cold Storage’s Customer Service Manager in NSW. He underwent two panel interviews and was required to make one final presentation when announced as the winner.
Scott, like previous SCS winners before him including Scott Bignell (1997) and Craig Adams (2000), demonstrated broad industry knowledge, dedication and potential in everything that he undertook.
The award ceremony took place during the annual RWTA conference at the Royal Pines resort in QLD.
Scott gave the night the thumbs up, judging it as one of the proudest moments of his life.
"The awards night was excellent. I was very proud when my name was read out as the winner of the Frank Vale and particularly honoured to receive the award from Barry Harvey, chairman of the RWTA," Scott said.
