A recent addition to the range of commercial and industrial cleaning equipment from Karcher is a new walk behind sweeper. The KM 75/40 sweeper, available from SweepEx Australia , offers reliable performance, efficiency and simplicity of use. With a 750mm wide working path, the KM 75/40 sweeper is suitable for maintaining areas of around 3500sqm.
There are two versions available: a petrol model, which is suitable for outdoors and a quiet, cordless, battery powered model, which can be used both inside and outside. Both sweepers will pick up fine dust and light debris such as leaves, cigarette butts, pallet scraps, dirt and sand. An optional carpet kit can be added to the battery machine, making it suitable for large carpeted areas, hotels and schools.
Both versions of the KM 75/40 sweepers also feature an extended side brush for getting into hard to reach areas, a full-width main broom and a large removable waste container. A simple hand controlled bulk waste flap makes easy work of capturing bigger items such as paper and general light litter. The sweeping action is ‘overthrow’ which ensures maximum efficiency and longer run times between emptying.
The vacuum filtration system is designed to provide the necessary protection and performance when working in areas where there is fine dust (forklift tyres, concrete and paper). The filter is washable and easily removed for basic maintenance. Karcher have integrated convenient grab handles into the main body to assist in lifting the sweeper in and out of vehicles.
