The Supply Chain and Logistics Association of Australia (SCLAA) have announced that David Rogers has been elected by the Directors to take up the position of National Deputy Chairman.
According to the SCLAA National Board, this important move forms an integral part of Board succession planning for Australia’s Supply Chain and Logistics Association. It is now expected that Rogers will succeed David Doherty as the current Chairman of the SCLAA in coming months.
Rogers has been a Director of SCLAA for two years, and prior to that he served in executive positions with the Victorian division of the association. Rogers currently works for the Fosters Group based in Melbourne. Rogers has a Masters Degree and Diploma of Transport and Distribution from RMIT.According to SCLAA, Rogers will bring his learning and insights to bear on the continuing development of the SCLAA and best practice in the profession. SCLAA acknowledge the service rendered to them by Steve MacPherson, who has been the Chairman, and more recently the Deputy Chairman.
