Submissions are now open for the sixth annual Queensland SCL Awards program.
The awards program is organised by Supply Chain and Logistics Association of Australia , Queensland Division, in conjunction with All Purpose Transport, apicsAU, Closed Loop Environmental Services, Energex Limited and Transpacific Industries Group.
Categories include Queensland Future Leaders Award, Queensland Industry Excellence Award, Queensland Supply Chain Management Award, Queensland Training, Education & Development Award and Queensland Environmental Excellence Award.
Winners will be announced on Thursday the 29th of August during the 14th annual Queensland Supply Chain and Logistics Conference.
Queensland Future Leaders Award
Sponsored by All Purpose Transport, the 2013 Queensland Future Leaders Award aims to incentivise and recognise young professionals who are currently working in and wish to continue their career path within the Transport, Supply Chain and Logistics Industry.
Queensland Industry Excellence Award
Sponsored by Energex Limited, the 2013 Queensland Industry Excellence Award recognises and acknowledges the outstanding achievements and contribution by an individual currently working within the Transport, Supply Chain and Logistics Industry. Individuals who have demonstrated vision and leadership, show innovation and are not afraid to take risks will be considered for the award.
Queensland Supply Chain Management Award
Sponsored by Transpacific Industries Group, the 2013 Queensland Supply Chain Management Award aims to encourage and acknowledge the outstanding achievement of an organisation that has demonstrated significant achievement in managing the integration of Supply Chains. This could be functional integration within an organisational Supply Chain or more widely across Supply Chains involving several organisations that have formed trading partnerships or alliances.
Queensland Training, Education & Development Award
Sponsored by apicsAU, the 2013 Queensland Training, Education and Development Award will be presented to the company or institution that best demonstrates a significant achievement in aspects such as recruitment process, training, HR systems, formal education and development programs that is both relevant to and promotes the Supply Chain and Logistics Industry.
Queensland Environmental Excellence Award
Sponsored by Closed Loop Environmental Services, the 2013 Queensland Environmental Excellence Award recognises corporate leadership in contributing to environmental sustainability within the industry through performance and action.
Nominees do not have to be members of the SCLAA to be eligible for entry. Submissions are due no later than Friday the 11th of July 2013.
The QLD SCL Awards is the Queensland feeder program for the 2013 Australian Supply Chain and Logistics Awards, which will be held on the 28th of November at the Sydney Opera House.
