The Supply Chain and Logistics Association of Australia (SCLAA) has signed a cooperative agreement with the Global Supply Chain Council (GSCC) based in China with members all over Asia.
According to Mr David Rogers, National Chairman of the SCLAA, the agreement with GSCC will provide a platform for networking amongst members through international visits, education and professional development initiatives.
Mr Rogers adds that the SCLAA sees the partnership as further support offered to members in key global markets.
With the SCLAA and GSCC organising professional events and managing resources of value, members and collaborative partners from both associations stand to benefit from the initiative.
Mr Max Henry, Founder and Executive Director of GSCC adds that Australia with its large geography has developed best practices in SCM and logistics. The new initiative will provide enhanced knowledge to GSCC members in Asia.
