The Supply Chain and Logistics Association of Australia
(SCLAA), Queensland Division announced the winner of the inaugural scholarship program offered in conjunction with the UQ Business School.
The winner of the inaugural SCLAA Scholarship, which provides a place to attend the UQ Supply Chain & Logistics Management Course, is Skye Naismith, General Manager, Mt Gravatt Coach & Travel.
Feeling both honoured and humbled to be the recipient of the inaugural 2012 SCLAA Scholarship, Ms Naismith said that the UQ Supply Chain & Logistics Management course will increase her awareness of improved processes and innovation to ensure that she can provide effective leadership based on sound principles.
She added that the networking and cross-modal focus will provide a great opportunity to enhance her knowledge of lean systems and organisational agility to solve strategic and operational issues using a range of practical problem-solving tools.
Mr Brad Maye, Business Development Manager said that the UQ Business School Executive Education was proud to partner with the SCLAA to provide a full scholarship for the upcoming Supply Chain & Logistics Management course, running in Brisbane from 26 to 29 November.
Mr Maye explained that the Supply Chain & Logistics Management course provided strategic decision makers and operational managers in both domestic and international markets with the knowledge, skills and practical tools to effectively and efficiently manage logistics across their business.
