The Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport Australia (CILTA) and the Supply Chain and Logistics Association of Australia (SCLAA), Victorian Division will jointly host the 2010 Supply Chain Summit – What’s New & What’s Next that is being held in Melbourne on Tuesday the 21st of September at the Hilton on the Park.
In the wake of the Global Financial Crisis, the transport and logistics (T&L) industry is facing several challenges. CILTA and SCLAA are convening this event to ensure that the industry has a clear way forward.
The Summit will tackle critical issues including:
- People in T&L: Attracting, retaining and maintaining top quality staff
- What’s new in the supply chain?
- What’s next?
Three sessions will be hosted by leading industry professionals and a CEO’s Panel will be conducted to facilitate open questions on the views of the future of the industry as well as lessons to be learnt from this Summit.
Confirmed guest speakers include Michael Kilgariff (ALC), David Rogers (SCLAA), Michael Alf (Capgemini), Howard Croxon AM FCILT (CILTA), David Doherty (SCLAA), Giuseppe Devincenzo (CEVA Logistics) and Ken Bean (Metcash).
