The Supply Chain and Logistics Association of Australia
(SCLAA), Queensland Division will be holding their 10th consecutive SCL Summit at the 2012 Queensland Supply Chain and Logistics Conference on Thursday the 23rd of August.
A unique event established by the SCLAA for Managing Directors, Chief Executive Officers and Senior Management, the 2012 SCL Summit is themed ‘The 5 Challenges to Supply Chain Management’, and will have participation by Company Directors, CEOs, CIOs, Supply Chain Executives, and government and academic leaders among others who will take away creative ideas to drive their organisations to meet the challenges of a rapidly and constantly changing world.
The 5 Challenges to Supply Chain Management include Customer Focus, Supply Chain Relationships, Technologies, Supply Chain Risk Management and People.
The 2012 SCL Summit will seek to discover and explore practical ways to create significant additional value from supply chains in all types of organisations. Panellists will include Associate Professor Hermione Parsons, Director, Institute of Supply Chain and Logistics, Victoria University, Mr Hans Anneveldt, Vice President – Intermodal Strategy and Business Development and Mr Scott Reid, Regional Manager, CISCO Systems.
