Smart Supply Chain Technology Show to be held in a week

Supplier News

With one week to go before the 2007 Smart Supply Chain Technology Show ; the official exhibition of Supply Chain Week, which will be held at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre on the 20th and 21st of June, the exhibition will be the larger ever held.

The Smart Supply Chain Technology Show is widely recognised as the leading Supply Chain and Logistics exhibition in Australasia. Attracting international exhibitors and visitors this year sees a significant increase in not only the number of exhibitors but also a broader range of products on display from technology to materials handling to retail merchandising.

Simon Cooper, organiser of the SSCT Show, believes that the high number of exhibitors will ensure that the event brings in a large crowd of visitors who are looking for new technologies and solutions to optimise their supply chain.

“Exhibitors for 2007 include Manhattan Associates, Sterling Commerce, JDA Software, Microsoft, GRA, Logistics Recruitment, SmartTrans, SYSPRO, TransTech and broader market players like RetailQuip, Mobicon Systems and Finlease,”

The 2007 SSCT Show will provide the opportunity to learn about the new technology tools available to ensure ‘Visibility’. Whether companies are looking for security, inventory, transport or even materials handling solutions, SSCT 2007 will have them all.

“All areas of the Supply Chain & Logistics industry are covered under one roof and we encourage everyone to register now on-line to attend the 2007 Smart Supply Chain Technology Show,”

Features of the SSCT Show:

Unique exhibition layout:

The Smart Supply Chain Technology Show is unique and original in both its design and layout of the exhibition booths. Attendees are able to compare small, medium and multi-national sized companies in the same light due to the layout and design of the booths.

“We have designed the SSCT Show so the booths are all similar, ensuring exhibitors display their solutions on a level playing field. In 2005 this proved to be a tremendous success for attendees as they were able to evaluate the technologies on show rather than be swayed by gimmicks,” he said.

Exhibition seminars:

The Smart Supply Chain Technology show is running daily seminars for visitors.

Unique matchmaking program:

The SSCT pre-registration Matchmaking Program developed in 2005 has been expanded to incorporate a new appointment scheduler for 2007.

All visitors will automatically receive a list of exhibitors who are offering products and services matched to their interest area indicated when registering.
