Paperless Warehousing will be demonstrating a continued development of its Warehouse Management System (WMS), which provides a range of functionalities that are being continually developed to exceed the World’s Best Practice and to meet the complex demands of the present day Supply Chain, on stand W6 at the 2007 SSCT Show.
The WMS has been fully RF based since its design in 1988 and Voice enabled since 2003. The WMS can integrate seamlessly with readily available voice terminals as well as the new RF terminals, with several client rollouts providing further efficiency gains and improvement to productivity from hands-free operations.
The WMS has also been developed with a Microsoft dotNet user screen providing a range of graphical management reports at the touch of the mouse. Further MS.Net functionality includes the ability to directly integrate with MS Excel for further analysis of the wide array of data automatically captured by the WMS.
The strength and flexibility of the WMS is highlighted by the varied range of clients and in particular the growing number of large 3PL operations.
Due to the size of these operations, the volumes and the required labour resources, a Paperless WMS is required to ensure that the warehousing and distribution disciplines are as efficient as possible, as well as to provide the required inventory and order accuracy and visibility.
Paperless Warehousing continues to grow and strengthen its position as Australia's major specialist WMS supplier, by offering practical warehousing solutions to all its client across a list of industries. The full time, Australian operations team is backed by a solid, software development and technical team providing local support to all clients.
The Smart Supply Chain Technology Show will be held on the 20th and 21st of June 2007 as part of Supply Chain Week and along with Smart Conference.
