SUPPLIED Solutions and MOXA Technologies have introduced a new NPort 6000 series of serial servers. The NPort 6000 device servers are positioned as both "Secure Device Servers" and "Secure Terminal Servers".

In fact, the advanced terminal server capabilities of the NPort 6000 makes this series a major force in the terminal server market.

NPort 6150 supports SSL and SSH connections, which means that NPort 6000 series can be used to connect a serial device to Ethernet with encryption. The 3-in-1 serial port supports RS232, RS422, and RS485, with the desired interface selected when NPort 6000 series is configured.

Information security is one of the most important concerns when connecting serial devices to Ethernet. NPort 6150 supports SSL and SSH protocols, which ensures that serial data is sent over a secure TCP/IP Ethernet connection. Users can rest assured that their serial data is transmitted securely over the network.
