Streets Ice Cream recently purchased a 0.5 kW air cooled chiller system from Australian chiller system manufacturer, Matsu Chilling Systems , for use in their package manufacturing process.
The 0.5 kW air cooled chiller system manufactured by Summit Matsu Chillers is used for the blue ribbon tub formation for Streets Ice Cream. In this sealing process the base and walls of the tub are sealed together using heat to make the tub water tight. After the tub is formed with heat seals, the chilling system cools the sealing station at 10ºC rather than at the normal ambient air temperature of 25ºC to create a faster, more reliable seal, while saving manufacturing time and increasing the quantity of blue ribbon tubs made per shift.
Michelle Wallace, Line Performance Engineer at Streets, is pleased with the chiller system as Summit Matsu Chillers are easy to contact and provide quality customer service. She can perform her duties with confidence knowing that the chiller system will perform reliably and efficiently. As a result, Michelle can allocate her time and energy as a line performance engineer on other important projects without having to worry about the performance of the chiller systems.
