Matsu Chilling Systems recently supplied two water cooled cooling systems at 36 kW and 14 kW to Supreme Foods Processing for use in vinegar manufacturing. Supreme Foods Processing provides foods such as vinegar at affordable price and their range of goods includes white, malt, white wine and red wine vinegar.
The need for a cooling system arose through Supreme Foods Processing’s new project to manufacture vinegar and this manufacturing process requires a cooling system.
The cooling systems are used to chill a tank containing bacteria, which is the ingredient used to manufacture vinegar. The live bacteria generate heat which then needs to be chilled to maintain the vinegar at a constant temperature. Chilled water is pumped through the tank via a cooling coil in order for the temperature to be reduced to 29.9 degrees celsius.
Using the cooling systems in this manufacturing process means that there will be no production stand stills when it comes to summertime and the external ambient environment places a higher demand on the cooling systems function to maintain the constant temperature of the vinegar.
This will enable Supreme Foods Processing to increase customer satisfaction by being able to supply more vinegar products as customers need them, regardless of the external temperatures.
