Leading compressed air solutions specialist, Sullair Australia will be showcasing a wide range of compressors at this year’s National Manufacturing Week (NMW) being held from May 8 to 11 in Sydney.

Sullair Australia will display stationary compressed air solutions including its new cost-competitive CS range, the new quiet and efficient direct gear-driven CSD range, and the new CSE belt driven compressors.

Sullair Australia National Marketing Manager, Michael Knowles says that its new electronically controlled CS range of load/unload rotary screw compressors is available from 4 to 15 kW, has a choice of output pressures of 8, 10 or 13 bar, and is rated for a maximum free-air delivery of 29.3 l/s.

He explains that the tank-mounted CS range of compressors benefits from quiet operation and low running costs to offer enhanced energy efficiency, representing a cost-competitive compressed air solution for small- to medium-sized manufacturers.

The larger gear-driven CSD compressors are currently available in two sizes with the smaller 55kW unit, the CSD55 having an output pressure choice of 7.5 or 10.0 bar, and rated for a maximum free air delivery of 163 l/s. The larger 75kW CSD75 has a choice of output pressures and can deliver a maximum of 210 l/s.

Key benefits of the gear-drive compressors include excellent efficiency, maximised output performance and minimal maintenance in addition to quiet operation. The CSD range can be run for extended periods in 50ºC ambient temperatures, and can operate equally well in dry, dusty and humid conditions.

The new 55kW CSE50 compressor provides a belt-driven alternative to the CSD option, and extends the popular CSE line-up from 15 to 55 kW. Offering an output pressure of either 7.5 or 10 bar, the CSE50 is rated for a maximum of 141 l/s free air delivery.

Common features of the CSD and CSE compressors include IP54-rated electrical cabinets and IP55-rated motors, which are fully MEPS2 compliant and incorporate a totally enclosed fan-cooled (TEFC) design for low temperature rise. These compressors are designed and manufactured in Australia for 100% duty in harsh conditions.

Knowles adds that Sullair’s compressors are suitable for duty in any production or manufacturing environment from single-shift to 24/7 operations.

Sullair Australia will be exhibiting at Stand 4700 (indoors) at National Manufacturing Week 2012 at the Sydney Showgrounds, Olympic Park in Sydney from 8 to 11 May 2012.
