Compressed air equipment specialist Sullair Australia has appointed Graeme Smith as the new National Accounts and Export Manager to facilitate communications between national and export customers, and the Sullair Australia team.
Originally based in Brisbane as the Queensland and NSW sales manager for Sullair Australia, Smith’s move to Melbourne to take up the newly created position will give him the opportunity to focus on supporting existing customers and developing new opportunities.
Smith will work with customers through tender submissions as well as product specifications, build corporate relationships and assist local sales teams.
According to Smith, a national point of contact within Sullair Australia ensures the customer’s voice filters through all levels of the organisation. He adds that the role is about mobilising the business and coordinating various functions to ensure that the customer gets the overall best experience and the right delivery the first time, be it in direct product, after-market service or spare parts support.
Michael Wilkinson, National Sales Manager, Sullair Australia comments that the new role within Sullair Australia is designed to give overarching responsibility for the company’s key national and export accounts.
The role is based in Melbourne in order to have key personnel in one location. By leveraging the knowledge and experience of other staff, Smith will be integral to the organisation’s ongoing commitment to customer relationships and feedback.
