Leading compressor technology group, Sullair Australia, has supplied the CAT Rental Power division of Energy Power Systems Australia (EPS)—a Caterpillar dealer—with a large fleet of Sullair diesel air compressors. The latest order comprises standard- and high-pressure units (rated from 330 to 1600 cfm), as well as 100 per cent oil-free units and Sullair’s dual-capacity, dual-pressure portable diesel air compressor, the Sullair Combo.
According to Marcel Heijkoop, CAT Rental Power - Rental Division National Sales Manager, the air compressors from Sullair Australia are destined to be used in a wide range of applications—many of them in the most demanding environments in the country. “Whether it’s a 100 per cent oil-free unit for industrial or food & packaging industries, or a high-pressure unit for a drilling or pipeline pressure-testing applications, our rental customers demand performance and reliability,” he said. “You can’t get more reliable than a Caterpillar engine driving a Sullair air-end.”
It is this reliability that sets Sullair apart, according to Sullair marketing manager, construction and mining, Ian Tessmann. “Sullair air compressors are tailored to suit the demanding conditions encountered at Australian sites,” he said. “The Sullair air compressors can be used anywhere—from food manufacturing factories to mines. In each case, the reliability, air quality, and environmental impact have to be first-class. A wide range of Sullair compressors—including 100 per cent oil-free compressors—is available to suit all requirements.”
In almost all cases, CAT Rental Power’s Sullair air compressors will be hired by organisations to increase capacity in times of high load, restore production during maintenance, pipe line pressure testing applications, or for emergency breakdowns. Typically, the compressors are hired for use in large power stations, pipe laying, drilling, mining and construction sites, or for industrial processes. In all such instances, easy access to Sullair air compressors through CAT Rental Power enables production to continue unhindered. Sullair also has the infrastructure in place throughout Australia to provide the in-depth technical support to CAT Rental Power’s own technicians.
This order is the latest in a long-standing relationship between Sullair and CAT Rental Power. This latest delivery has enabled EPS to expand its rental offering, and complements the company’s power generator and temperature control rental groups. “Together, CAT Rental Power and Sullair Australia are providing Australian industry with straightforward access to world-class, reliable compressed-air solutions tailored to the application and environment,” said Heijkoop.
