USK 6R straight polisher/grinder available from Suhner
Suhner has developed an ideal combination of electric polishing tool, equipment and abrasives to meet most flat Stainless Finishing applications.
With its compact and light design, the USK 6R straight polisher/grinder handles 1530W of power and can accommodate spindle sizes from 6 to 12mm (or imperial equivalent).
The Suhner USK 6R has the ability to provide speeds from 2800 to 5800 Rpm, which means a variety of metal finishing applications can be met.
The Suhner range of abrasives includes the 3M Trizact abrasive belts, which when applied on the Suhner elastic drum range achieve high quality finish with the least amount of work. Stainless flat bar or box section can be finished from mill to 2000 grit in as little as 5 steps.
The Suhner USK 6R is the ideal tool to run blending wheels such as the Suhner Sun-Roll 150x50. These are ideal to blend stainless where welds have been ground away and the work piece has an existing brush finish.
The Suhner USK 6R and its slower speed range sister the USK 3R (1400 to 3000 Rpm) are the ideal tools to run up to 150mm diameter polishing mops utilising a tapered spindle.
