Suhner (Australia)  announces the launch of two new grinding wheels designed for grinding stainless steel and curved surfaces.

Ceramic grinding wheels are the ultimate solution for fast machining with the unique properties of the ceramic grain shortening machining times and extending the service life of the wheels.

Suhner Tigerbite finned grinding wheels

The new Tigerbite finned grinding wheels from Suhner deliver high efficiency and convincing quality at a convincing price.

Developed for effective grinding on stainless steel, Tigerbite finned grinding wheels feature an active grinding layer that allows working at lower temperatures, which effectively eliminates damage to the surface.

The Tigerbite fin wheel offers a smoother experience in abrasive grinding or finishing applications compared to conventional flap or fibre wheels with its long service life also saving the trouble of having to replace the grinding wheels.

Suhner Vulcano grinding wheels

Developed specifically for grinding curved surfaces, Suhner Vulcano grinding wheels feature a unique vulcanised geometry that allows them to adapt perfectly to all curved surfaces. Vulcano is the preferred choice particularly on turbines and blades in power stations.

Featuring ceramic grains, this roughing wheel is a premium product with the removal rate and service life ideal for maximum requirements. At only 4mm in thickness, the Vulcano is also one of the most flexible grinding wheels; flexibility can be maximised using a backup pad.

The Vulcano grinding wheel delivers aggressive performance on both normal and stainless steel surfaces, perfectly complementing the established Suhner Magic grinding discs.

The Vulcano grinding wheel serves as an ideal substitute for conical finned grinding pads for work requiring tool changes.
