SPRAYING Systems has released a comprehensive publication describing important applications of spraying technology for the food processing industry.

The publication, bulletin no. 524B, describes solutions for coating, pasteurising, cooling, washing, drying, humidifying, and packaging.

Coating technology utilises a range of spraying nozzles for egg and butter coating, sugar coating, can coating, mould inhibitor application, etc.

Drying nozzles are described for coffee, tea, milk, yeast, cocoa, baking powder, etc. Nozzles incorporating anti-bearding design are described. These minimise the possibility of the build-up of coatings of the liquid being applied.

Solutions for can washing and sterilising, sealing, blow-off and drying, complete the armoury of tools available for virtually all important operations in food processing.
